Recently, he is focusing on the translational research of GI cancer, especially the personalized treatment based on PDX models. Prof. Teng is currently leading research projects listed below: The establishment and assessment of PDX model in GI cancer (>100 models was established, mainly include gastric cancer and colorectal cancer)，The screening of sensitive markers in chemotherapy and targeted drug based on PDX models，Launching of one mouse-one patient treatment in GI cancer patients，The developing of the molecular classification of gastric cancer for Chinese population(already established nearly 1000 GC follow-ups database, and WES or WGS of more than 80 patients has been completed ). He is also conducting clinical trials of neoantigen targeted therapy in advanced GI cancer patients.
