个人简介
Liling Xiao received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1987, 1990, and 1993, respectively, all in electrical engineering.
From 1993 to 2000, she was with the Department of Engineering Physics with Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, where she worked on the design of accelerator RF structures for medical and industrial applications. In 1995, she was a short-term Visiting Scholar with KEK: The High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Tsukuba, Japan. During her time with KEK, she was involved in the numerical analysis and microwave measurements on the Next Generation Linear Collider (NLC) accelerator RF structures. From 2000 to 2001, she was a Visiting Scientist with the High Energy Division, Argon National Laboratory, Lemont, IL, USA. She was involved in the modeling and simulation of dielectric lined waveguides used for high-energy particle accelerators. Since 2004, she has been a Staff Engineer with SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, CA, USA. Her research focuses on electromagnetic modeling and simulation of particle accelerators including multiphysics characteristics using high-performance computing for large-scale accelerator applications.
