个人简介
Dr. Wang is currently a senior staff scientist in the oxide epitaxy group of the Physical and Computational Science Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He has more than 10 years of experience in the synthesis, characterization, and utilization of oxide thin films and heterostructures. Since joining PNNL in 2017, his work has been focusing on controlling the electronic phase evolution and coupling the lattice strain and oxygen non-stoichiometry in epitaxial perovskite oxide thin film systems for information and energy storage technologies. He excels at employing the techniques of X-ray photoelectron and absorption spectroscopy to study the electronic structures of oxide thin films for a better understanding of the composition-structure-property relationship. Dr. Wang's long-term dedication to academic research has resulted in 72 peer-reviewed articles published in the most prestigious and influential journals, such as Science Advances, Advanced Materials, Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, and ACS Nano. Dr. Wang has further garnered more than 2100 citations and he also serves as a reviewer for many journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, National Science Review, Small, APL, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
