Liangyu Zhang

I am interested in chromosome dynamics and reorganization during cell division. During my Ph.D. training, I studied the regulation of microtubule dynamics and chromosome segregation in mitosis using tissue cultured cells. Now, I am investigating the molecular mechanism underlying chromosome dynamics and reorganization in meiosis using the model organism C. elegans.
