Liangming Xiong

Liangming Xiong received the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is presently the Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Optical Fiber and Cable Manufacture Technology in YOFC. Before joining YOFC, he had worked successively with the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Toyota Technological Institute, and Hokkaido University, Japan, as a Research Fellow. His current research interests include optical fiber materials and technologies, fiber optic sensors, and optical communication.
