Lian-Yu Chen

Lian-Yu Chen, M.D., PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. She in the current secretary general of Taiwanese Addiction Society and serves as the deputy director of Kunming Prevention and Control Center. She is a board-certified addiction psychiatrist and received her PhD in Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has conducted numerous studies on NPS, comorbidities and service use. She has served as a principal investigator of several national grants in Taiwan, and has received prestigious awards including Sommer Scholarship, Lucy Shum Award, Sartorius Award from World Congress of Asian Psychiatry, and the Best Thesis Award from Taiwanese Society of Addiction Sciences.
