Bio
Wanlu Li received the B.S. degree from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. Dr. Li was with Harvard Medical School as a Visiting Student and Postdoctoral Researcher during 2018–2022. Since August 2022, she has been the tenure-track Assistant Professor with Biomedical Engineering School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interests include innovating 3D bioprinting technologies to recreate functional tissues and their biomimetic models for applications in precision medicine. She has authored or coauthored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Aggregate, Advanced Healthcare Materials, and Biofabrication. Dr. Li was the recipient of the Junior Investigator Award and Award for Scientific Excellence at the International Stroke Conference 2019 and International Society for Stem Cell Research conference 2020.
