Bio
Leif K. Oxenløwe received the B.Sc. degree in physics and astronomy from Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1996, the International Diploma from Imperial College London, London, U.K., the M.Sc. degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, in 2002. Since 2009, he has been a Professor of Photonic Communication Technologies. He is the Group Leader of the High-Speed Optical Communications Group, DTU Fotonik, Department of Photonics Engineering, DTU, and the Centre Leader of the Research Centre of Excellence SPOC (Silicon Photonics for Optical Communications) supported by the Danish National Research Foundation. His research interests are focused on silicon photonics for optical processing and high-speed optical communication.
