He worked for the major research interests on the clinical researches in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma and other digestive diseases, and the further research of molecular mechanism of hepatocellular carcinoma. Dr. Liu has undertook a number of fundation projects with rich experiences in scientific writing and capturing the scientific front-line. He has published 35 excellent papers as first author or corresponding author in Lancet Gastroenterol Hepatol, Clinical Cancer Research, Am J Gastroenterol, etc.
