Bio
Lei Kuang (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in industrial electronics and control engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, U.K., in 2016, and the M.Sc. degrees in embedded systems, analog and digital integrated circuit design from the University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K., and Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 2017 and 2019, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology, developing comprehensive biomedical devices for the point-of-care diagnosis of infectious diseases. His research interests include high-speed Lab-on-Chip platform, compression and machine learning algorithms for CMOS imagers, digital IC design and real-time processing system for biomedical applications.
