My scientific career was centred on the study of molecules with atmospheric and astrophysical interest. This research was conducted using a broad range of both theoretical and experimental spectroscopy techniques. On the experimental side, I have performed and analyzed many different sorts of experiments, such as: High Resolution Stimulated Raman Spectroscopy (IEM-CSIC, Madrid), Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (LADIR, Paris), Fourier Transform Far Infra-Red Spectroscopy (SOLEIL synchrotron, Yvette), Difference Frequency Generator Laser Spectroscopy (GSMA, Reims). Most of the data obtained in these experiments was then processed using a broad range of complex analysis tools such as: Multi-spectra fitting methods (that allow us to extract spectroscopic parameters at different NPT conditions), modeling of the line-mixing of spectroscopic bands,etc. Once at AIIA (INTA), my scientific interest turned towards atmospheric physics, a more applied branch of the research and with growing interest in the society. To exploit all the potential of the MAX-DOAS data currently obtained at AIIA, I learned radiative transfer (RT) and inversion methods to obtain the vertical information contained in these measurements. I lead the density vertical profile estimation of different trace gases and aerosols observed over different stations around the world. By using RT, I also studied the radiative forcing of clouds, Polar Stratospheric Clouds detection and altitude estimation, cirrus ice content, etc. This multidisciplinary background put me in a privileged position to address different aspects of space missions, in particular those related with Earth atmosphere observation or identification and characterization of gases, aerosols and clouds in other planets atmospheres. Thus, I participate in the scientific requirements of several payloads for space mission (SIS-ExoMars, RDS-Mars2020, MiLi-ESA, ANSER-INTA), the exploitation of their data, and the conceptualization, viability of the payloads under different scenarios, code development, measurement strategy, analysis and interpretation.
