Bio
Lars Reichardt (Student Member, IEEE) received the Dipl.-Ing. (M.S.) degree in electrical engineering from the Universität Karlsruhe (TH), Germany, in 2008. He is currently working towards the Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree electrical engineering at the Institut für Hochfrequenztechnik und Elektronik (IHE), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Since May 2008, he has been with the Institut für Hochfrequenztechnik und Elektronik (IHE), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), as a Research Associate. His research topics are focused on modeling of mobile radio channels and the optimization of diversity and MIMO-systems for vehicle-to-vehicle communication. He is participating in the European research initiatives “COST 2100.” For the European School of Antennas in the coordination action “Antenna Research and Technology for the Intelligent Car” (ARTIC), he is a lecturer for wave propagation and radio channels.
Mr. Reichardt received the European Microwave Week Student Challenge Award in 2008.
