Bio
In the 10 years of my research career, I have participated in 14 research projects (3 national MINECO projects, 1 regional project; 8 research contracts). I have published 14 papers (8 JCR, 1 Q1 and 5 Q2, (WOS) H index = 4 with 168 citations, 1st publication in 2015). I have been a member of the Social Psychology Research Group "CCE" for seven years (PI D. Páez & N. Basabe, University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, with a maximum category A among consolidated groups). I was awarded a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Basque Government, and in June 2017 I defended the International Doctoral Thesis titled "Shared Flow in Collective Meetings and Social Rituals" (dir. N. Basabe & M. Bobowik), which obtained the maximum qualification ("Cum Laude") and in 2019 the Extraordinary Doctoral Award UPV/EHU. I have continued my development as a researcher during two postdoctoral fellowships, which I have been awarded through competitive calls at UPV/EHU and a doctoral researcher contract, accumulating more than 3 years of postdoctoral contracts. I have organized more than 30 sessions of training seminars and co-coordinated two scientific conferences. As an active member of the CCE, I have co-organized, co-coordinated and implemented research projects on collective participation in collaboration with different social (Ararteko, SOS Racism) and academic (Vice-rectorate of Students, Employment and Social Responsibility, UPV/EHU ) entities, as well as contracts with municipal (town council of Ermua) or business entities (GUREAK Group - protected employment for people with disabilities). I have thus actively contributed to the attraction of funding through competitive calls and contracts. I have co-supervised and carried out research on rituals and collective gatherings, which has been one of my main lines of research interest. It is worth highlighting the study on “Tamborrada” rituals, from which several publications have been derived (JPSP, Páez et al., 2015 -Q1/D1, 105 citations). Also, I have been the coordinator (and first author of publications derived from) of research conducted in collaboration SOS Racism (CDP, Zumeta et al., 2021- Q1) –intervention awarded with the Civil Society Award 2016 (CE-EU)–or the International study 8M-2020, carried our in 9 countries and in collaboration with 14 universities (Frontiers, Zumeta et al., 2020 - Q2). In addition, I worked on seven other JCR articles (5 Q2). I have actively worked on consolidating the international networks (5 of my articles are the result of international research) with distinguished researchers: B. Rimé (U. Leuven), H. Cakal (Keele U.), I. Pinto (U. of Porto), and M. Bobowik (Utrecht U.), and collaborated with the Ibero-American Network of Social Psychology including 25 researchers from 7 countries. I would also like to highlight my research visit at the U. of Porto with I. Pinto and J. Marqués, one of the most influential teams in European social psychology. I have participated in 45 presentations in congresses (30 of them international). In 2019, I was awarded the 2nd prize for best paper at the 3rd International Congress of the SCEPS. I have collaborated in teaching various undergraduate courses and I have co-supervised 5 undergraduate theses and I am an instructor of practice in psychology. In 2020, I obtained accreditation as an associate professor at Social Science (UNIBASK) and in 2020 (after than Assistant Professor in 2019).
