个人简介
Dr. Lahcen Azrar is a Full Professor of Applied Mathematics at the ENSAM- Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco since September 2016. From September 1994 to September 2016; he was Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST) of Tangier, Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco. From 2011, he is a Research Professor to the King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Faculty of Engineering , under a research professorship. Fulbright visiting Scholar in 2001 and 2008 and DAAD in 2002.
He received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Metz in France in February 1993 and a Habilitation (Thèse d’Etat) from EMI, Mohammed V University, Morocco in June 1999.
Presently, he is the Director of the research Center STIS at the Mohammed V University Rabat, Head of a research group on Mathematical Modeling and Computing Sciences at the ENSET-Rabat, Head of the department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, ENSAM-Rabat and Expert at the National Research Center (CNRST) in Morocco.
Research interests: - Mathematical modeling, Numerical simulation, Integral equations, Stochastic process, Partial Differential Equations, Structural Dynamics, Fluid Structure Interaction, Nonlinear dynamics - Micromechanical modeling of multifunctional materials, Stability of structures, Composite Materials, Carbon Nano Tubes, Active and passive vibration control, Structural Health Monitoring, etc.
