Ladislav Stanke

Ladislav Stanke was born in Havířov, Czechoslovakia, in 1987. He received the bachelor’s degree in optics and optoelectronics from the Faculty of Science, Palacky University Olomouc, Olomouc, in 2010, the master’s degree in digital and instrument optics and the master’s degree in nanotechnology, in 2012 and 2013, respectively, the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from Palacky University Olomouc, in 2017, and the master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, VSB–Technical University of Ostrava, in 2021. He is an interdisciplinary scientist with experience in academia as a Laser Physicist and industry, where he focused mainly on optical engineering and lighting as a Lead Lighting Engineer in an automotive company. In 2019, he became the Co-Founder of the Human-Light Interaction Laboratory, Palacky University Olomouc. He is currently an Employee of the University Hospital Olomouc, Czech National e-Health Center, where he is responsible for the technical aspects of various research projects, especially biomedical sensors, signal, and image analysis. He is also an Employee of the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Palacky University Olomouc, where he is responsible for areas of psychophysics and psychophysiology. His main research interest includes vision science.
