个人简介
Dr L. Vidhya is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Hindusthan College of Engineering anfd Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. She has acquired her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and has 20 years of teaching experience. Her doctoral thesis focussed on removal of heavy metal ions using biochars derived from waste agro materials and inorganic adsorbents. Her current research work involves development of novel biochar materials from wastes and eco-friendly biodegradables from the soil and water for green agriculture and clean environment, synthesis of nanoparticles and its applications in waste water treatment, conversion of waste to bioenergy and electro chemical sensors. Further her research findings were documented in peer-reviewed national and inernational journals. Now, she is acting as one of the consultants for Smart Agriculture in Malaysia with special reference to environmental issues under TNAU-InAgMa, Agro-Park Project, Selangor, Malaysia
