In constant learning, I like to know a little about all areas. I aim to learn, apply and transfer knowledge. I consider knowledge as a precious asset, which should not be restricted, it should flow in all directions and in all social strata: it is the key to the world.
Furthermore, I have a diplomatic and respectful personality. I value a friendly environment and the exchange of experiences. I am open to new challenges, helping my colleagues, and exchanging ideas.
Not only that, but I am passionate about Science. Professionally, I hold a Ph.D. and MSc. degrees in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and Graduation in Food Technology from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). I worked in partnership with the company Ajinomoto do Brasil, in a confidential technology development process. I possess two patents registered by the INPI. I have experience in submerged and solid-state fermentation, manipulating bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. Physico-chemical characterization of substrates, agro-industrial waste valorization, production of organic acids, Upstream and Downstream processes, recovery, and purification of biomolecules, analytical chemistry, and production of educational resources.
