Laven Naidoo received the B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. degrees in environmental and geographical science from the University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in geoinformatics from the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa. He is currently working as a Researcher with the Earth Observation Research Group, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Pretoria, South Africa. His research interests include the application of remote sensing technologies such as hyperspectral, LiDAR, and SAR to model and map environmental phenomena and vegetation structure.
