Bio
continued to develop his research interest in design, algorithm development, and modelling techniques relevant to non-dynamic analyses, impact testing and design of morphing and flow control structures. Recently developing new material and solver techniques for polymeric armour and understanding the design of drones to minimize damage from impact onto manned aircraft.
He has been involved in research funded by the CEC, EPRSC, Dstl, MoD, QINETIQ, BAE/RR, AIRBUS, DfT and the DTI(TSB). He has also published numerous journal and international conference papers.
