Bio
Dr. Igl is a Research Ecologist with Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center of the U.S. Geological Survey. He received his B.S. degree in Wildlife Ecology, Biology, and Natural Resources Management from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Stevens Point; M.S. degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State Univ.; and Ph.D. in Zoology from North Dakota State Univ. His research interests include avian ecology, conservation and management, with an emphasis on grassland, wetland, and agricultural ecosystems.
