个人简介
My research is focused on visual analytics methodology for video and eye tracking analysis. By combining interactive visualization with techniques from computer vision and machine learning, we provide researchers and data scientists new ways to look at their data, explore it, and understand results from automatic processing steps.
Further, eye tracking allows us to better understand how people perceive and interact with the world. Hence, my second research interest is in designing and evaluating visualization and interaction techniques that involve gaze measurements. This way we could, for instance, create gaze-based smart subtitles that appear where you look at. With eye tracking, we can also find out how people solve tasks visually when watching videos, interacting with computer software, or moving around in the real world.
