My current research interests are multi-organ injuries due to exposure to ionizing radiation. I have been focusing on gastrointestinal injury and pulmonary fibrosis. With a well-equipped team of researchers, I'm leading the development of pre-clinical mouse models to study the organ damage and evaluation of prophylactic and mitigating countermeasures to fulfil the unmet medical need.
