Kristopher L. Kuhlman

Hydrogeophysicist specializing in the thermal-hydrological-mechanical-chemical behavior of geologic salt, currently the PI implementing the Brine Availability Test in Salt (BATS) underground at WIPP. My primary applications are radioactive waste disposal and nuclear non-proliferation. I am interested the physics of coupled processes (thermohaline convection, thermoporoelasticity, electrokinetics, heat of wetting), two-phase flow, containment science, aquifer test analysis methods, and application of integral transforms.
