Yong-Sun Kim

Yongsun Kim (M'08) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 1997, 1999, and 2011, respectively, all in electrical and computer engineering. In 1999, he joined the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Daejeon, Korea, where he is currently a Senior Member of the engineering staff, working on the development and standardization for wireless local area networks and wireless personal area networks. His research interests include next-generation mobile radio communication systems and broadband wireless networks, with special emphasis on medium access control layer design and performance analysis. His recent research is focused on high-speed wireless local and personal area network systems.
