Bio
Khabat graduated from Sari Agricultural Science and Natural Resources University (SANRU), Iran in September 2017. He is now a postdoctoral researcher at Florida International University (FIU), Miami, USA and Ferdowsi University of Mahshad, Iran. Khabat does research in Watershed Modeling, Watershed Hydrology, Water Resource Management, Hydrological Modelling, and Prediction.
Khabat collaborated with professors and researchers all over the world (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Korea and so on) and worked with some distinguished professors such as Vijay P.Singh (Texas A&M University), Biswajeet Pradhan (University of technology, Sydney), Artemi Cerda (University of Valencia), Ozgur Kisi (Illia State University), Saro Lee (Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources), John J Clague (Simon Fraser University), Assefa Melesse (Florida International University), Jan F. Adamowski (McGill University), Sajad Ahmad (University of Nevada, Las Vages) and so on. He has published over 70 JCR paper in a top-ranked journal and with H-Index=32 and total citation over 3500, is now among the world's top 2% scientists list by Stanford University for two consecutive years (2020 and 2021). Most of his papers published in a top 5% journals and some of his papers are among most cited paper/hot paper in a famous and most prestigious journals such as Journal of Hydrology. He also is a Guest Editor in a famous ‘’Remote Sensing’’ and ‘’Water’’ journals (MDPI publisher, Switzerland). Khabat won the EWRA Grant regarding to the best paper from developing country in 10th World Congress on Water Resources and Environment, Athens, Greece, 2017. He also won the Morwick Scholarship in Water Resources Engineering from University of Guelph on 2019.
