Kenneth C. Mcgwire

Kenneth C. McGwire received the B. A., M. A., and Ph. D. degrees in geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1986, 1987, and 1992, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Earth and Ecosystems Sciences, Desert Research Institute, Reno, NV, where he has worked since 1994. He is also an adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Geography and the Graduate Program of Hydrological Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno. His specialization is in the application of image processing and GIS techniques to environmental analyses. He has been a Principal Investigator on grants from NSF, EPA, NIH, and NASA and was a member of the NASA science team for the Hyperion sensor on the EO-1 satellite.
