Dr. Branch's recent awards include the American College of Cardiology/Merck Fellowship Award, the Cardiology Teaching Excellence Award, the University of Washington School of Medicine Outstanding CME Teacher and recently nominated for the University of Washington Distinguished Teaching Award. His most recent research has been focused on the use of cardiac CT in the Emergency Department, radiation reduction techniques for cardiac CT and myocardial CT perfusion. He is currently one of the USA National Leaders for the international COMPASS trial. Dr. Branch’s research support included the National Institute of Health KL2 Mentored Training Grant. He has been invited to many national and international meetings to lecture on cardiac CT and cardiac imaging. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular CT.
