个人简介
As a part of my PhD thesis I researched new photoreactive BODIPY compounds as dyes for biomacromolecules and anticancer phototherapeutics. My part of the research included synthesis of the new BODIPY compounds and investigation of their photophisical properties and photochemical reactivity. I am highly experienced in organic synthesis and I learned a lot about photochemistry and UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopy.
Since part of my PhD thesis included biological testing of the compounds I synthetized I was curious to learn more about cell culture so after finishing my PhD I started working on investigation of the antioxidant activity of the benzazole skeleton in the design of new antitumor agents. My part of the research included research of the antiproliferative activity of the synthetized compounds on different cancer cell lines using MTT assay, cell cycle analysis using flow cytometry as well as fluorescence microscopy.
I would like to continue my research career in the field of organic synthesis and I am especially interested in the synthesis of biologically active compounds.
