Bio
Fundamental motor skills support positive developmental trajectories of health and closely relate to physical activity in children. My research agenda examines factors and interventions that affect fundamental motor skill development and physical activity in young children. Early childhood (i.e., 3-7 years) is an ideal time to implement these interventions because this is a critical developmental period for these skills as well as a period where children are establishing developmental trajectories of health.
