个人简介
Kanika Dheman (Student Member, IEEE) received the bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from the University of Essex, Colchester, U.K., in 2011, and the master's degree in micro and nano systems in 2014 from ETH, Zurich, Switzerland, where she is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree. Her master thesis focused on the design and fabrication of a magnetically actuated compliant milli gripper for minimally invasive surgery. Her research is focused on design and development of wearable systems for reliable physiological signal monitoring, especially, body hydration. She was awarded the KF Bowden Memorial Prize in 2010 for academic excellence. In 2011 she was awarded the Institute of Engineering Technology Prize for the highest B.Eng. degree mark in the region of South East England. Additionally, she was felicitated by the Department of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering for outstanding performance and initiative for her bachelor's thesis on dispersion in long-haul optical fibers for telecommunication. In 2017, she was awarded the Engineers for development (ETH4D) scholarship to develop noninvasive wearable sensing for body hydration monitoring at ETH, Zurich, Switzerland, as a Ph.D. student.
