Kang-Ping Lin

Kang-Ping Lin received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Biomedical Physics, School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1994. He is currently a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan, and the Editor-in-Chief of IFMBE News, the newsletter of International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering. He was the Director of Medical Engineering Technology Division, Biomedical Engineering Center, Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan, from 2001 to 2004. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering from 2000 to 2007. He was the President of Taiwanese Society of Biomedical Engineering from 2007 to 2010. His research interests include physiological signal processing, medical image processing, and kinetic modeling of PET.
