Bio
Kaharudin Dimyati obtained his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from University of Malaya in 1992. He was awarded a Ph.D. in 1996 from University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom. After completing his Ph.D., he continues to serve University of Malaya at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering as Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor. From 2011 to 2016, he is with National Defence University of Malaysia. His research interest includes Wireless Communications and Optical Communications and has published more than 150 articles in journals. He has so far supervised to completion many postgraduate students and is still heavily involved in research, supervision and publication. He is a Member of IET, IEEE and IEICE. He is a Chartered Engineer with Engineering Council UK (ECUK) and a Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
