Bio
Behavioral ecology of anuran amphibians is my key area of research. This includes ecological and reproductive character displacement, sexual dichromatism, breeding behavior and acoustic communication. I integrate landscape ecology issues such as movements, fragmentation and landscape dynamics in appreciating ecological questions. I also work on patterns and processes habitat fragmentation on amphibians and their distribution modeling. In urban ecology, I stress on the relevance and understanding of key ecological processes operating in urban environment (noise, air and water pollution and urban-rural divide) and on the concept of ‘generalist’. My research interest also encompass ecological complexity, agent based modeling and citizen science initiatives. More details at .
