Bio
Kazimierz Peszyński. Born in Poland, obtained his master’s degree in 1974, as well as later the CSc. (equivalent of PhD 1980), and after habilitation proceedings (2009) Associate Professor from ČVUT–Czech Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in Prague, Czech Republic. Since 1974 employed at UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz, Poland. In 1980 appointed to the post of the Assistant Professor, 1980 Head of Control and Measurement Systems laboratory, 1986 Head of Faculty Computer Laboratory and Computer Section, since 1999 to the end 2016 Head of the Control Division at the Department of Control and Machinery Design., He retired in 2017, but is still full time employed at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UTP Bydgoszcz. Professional interest covers the development of control devices based on the combination of mechanics and fluid dynamics principles, especially representing the power fluidics. He has collaborated on many research projects with the Institute of Thermomechanics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. An author or co-author of 7 textbooks, more than 230 research papers.
He is married and has four children.
