Bio
Hi! I am Nurulhuda and currently serves as a senior lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). My current research interests include process based modelling for systems like crop growth and impacts of agricultural activities on the environment, and Internet of Things for monitoring agricultural/environmental systems. Other potential areas include artificial intelligence for agriculture.
I teach the followings course at UPM:
i. Agricultural Systems Modelling & Analysis
ii. Soil Engineering/Mechanics
iii. Mathematics Engineering
Current research projects:
i. Determination of ammonia volatilization from agricultural systems i.e., rice fields.
ii. Experimenting of different types of ammonia passive samplers.
iii. Low-cost IoT system for monitoring of water quality.
