I work in the field of Extragalactic Astronomy,studying how galaxies formed and evolved in the first few billion years of cosmic time.My studies are conducted with astronomical observations taken with world-class infrared and optical telescopes. Currently,my main focus is on the scientific exploitation of James Webb Space Telescope(JWST)observations,as part of the JWST MIRI European Guaranteed-Time Team.I am also involved in the scientific preparation for Euclid,which will be launched in2023.

Galaxy formation and evolution at high redshifts. Stellar mass assembly. Star formation, black-hole activity and their evolution with cosmic time. IR-selected galaxies. Multiwavelength follow-up. The physics of the interstellar medium.
