Dr. Stringer is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan. She also serves as an associate director of the Michigan Center for Integrative Research in Critical Care (MCIRCC). She leads a research program in Translational Metabolomics in Critical Care which is funded by an NIH Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (R35). She received her PharmD from the University of Michigan, did her clinical residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed fellowships at both the State University of New York - Buffalo and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She was a faculty member in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado for nearly 20 years before joining the faculty of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in 2007.
