Bio
Jyh-Lih Wu received the Ph.D. degree in electro-optical engineering from the National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2011. He was also a Visiting Researcher with the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany, with the focus on study of plasmonic nano-optics (2010–2011). He is currently working with the Atsugi Research Center, Solar Frontier K.K., Atsugi, Japan, as a Senior Scientist, being in charge of the development of high-performance chalcopyrite solar cells. Prior to this, he had worked in TSMC Solar, getting involved in the CIGS-based technology/research development activities for improving the performances of full-size modules onto the production line as well as submodules onto the R&D pilot line. His research focused on the organic-based thin-film solar cells and related optical light-trapping techniques.
