I am an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University Shreveport. I hold a dual-appointment in the School of Business within the Department of Accounting and the James K. Elrod Health Administration Department. In 2018, I earned my Ph.D in Administration-Health Services from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I also hold a MBA from Jacksonville State University; am a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA), and am a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association. My research interests primary focus on the financial management of long-term care organizations and healthcare disparities.
