Bio
Justin is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education. Prior to joining the Dept of Medical Education, he spent 10 years as a Research Fellow with the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne.
During this time he was involved in a number of large-scale research projects, including a $5million Australia-wide program evaluating the introduction of routine screening protocols for postnatal mental illness. Justin is involved in teaching and co-ordination of a number of academic programs within the Melbourne Medical School including the Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Clinical Education, Masters of Clinical Research and Bachelor of Medical Science. Justin’s research interests include student transition to clinical learning, curriculum design, integration of medical humanities into clinical teaching and assessing student research competency.
