Project 1: Nano-films based on the mussel-inspired polydopamine (PDA)
A series of nano-films based on PDA were fabricated on diverse substrates (such as Al, Si, PET, PE, and PTFE) and showed wide potential application in nano-lubrication, anti-corrosion, and biomedicine.
Project 2: Nano-films based on graphene
A series of nano-films based on graphene and graphene oxide were fabricated on Si substrate and showed excellent lubrication properties.
Project 3: Lotus-inspired superhydrophobic surface (SHS)
Lotus-inspired SHS on diverse substrates (such as Al, Mg, Ti, Cu, PP plate, and PET fabrics) were fabricated by different methods. The potential application of such SHS in anti-corrosion, anti-icing, and oil / water separation was investigated.
