Jun Mo Yang

Jun-Mo Yang was born in Yesan, Korea, on December 25, 1965. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Inha University, Incheon, Korea, in 1991 and 1993, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 1998. He was a Researcher with the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials, Tohoku University. During 1998–2004, he was with the Memory Research and Development Division, Hynix Semiconductor Inc., Icheon. He then joined the National Nanofab Center (NNFC), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, where he is currently a Team Leader of the Measurement and Analysis Team. He is also as an Adjunct Professor with the Graduate School of Energy, Environment, Water, and Sustainability, KAIST. Dr. Yang is a member of the Korean Society of Electron Microscopy and The Korean Institute of Metals and Materials. He was the recipient of the Award of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technology on the 39th Day of Science, Korea (2006).
