Bio
Dr. Jun Li is currently an assistant professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (IBMS) at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College in China. Her research career includes a postdoctoral fellowship in David Sinclair's lab at the Genetics Department of Harvard Medical School, where she conducted cutting-edge research on how age-related NAD decline affects DNA repair capability.
Dr. Li's research interests are centered around molecular mechanisms of aging, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between DNA damage/repair, NAD metabolism, and aging processes. As the head of the Li Group at IBMS, Dr. Li is passionate about uncovering the mysteries of aging and developing innovative approaches to improve human health.
