Bio
I am a Senior Research Biometrician in the University of Adelaide. The focus of my research is the development of statistical methodology and models, along with their computational implementation, for use in the analysis of plant breeding experiments. A substantial component of this research is on whole genome analysis methods such as quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis, genome wide association analyses (GWAS) and genomic selection (GS).
Additionally, I am the co-author and maintainer of statistical software packages R/ASMap and R/wgaim written in the open source R statistical computing environment. These packages provide efficient computational solutions for constructing genetic linkage maps from large sets of marker data and utilizing them downstream in gene-trait analyses.
