Julian Pontes (Member, IEEE) is graduated in computer engineering at UEPG, Ponta Grossa, Brazil, in 2006. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from PUC-RS, Ponte Alegre, Brazil, in collaboration with CEA-Leti, Grenoble, France, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. His Ph.D. research work was focused on fault tolerance in asynchronous circuits and this work was extended as a PostDoc in CEA/Leti, with research contributions on 3D architecture and circuit design.
He worked with System Integration at Arm Ltd., Sheffield, U.K. He currently works with CPU design at ARM, Sophia Antipolis, France.
