个人简介
Julia Körner received the Diploma degree in electrical engineering from Technical University Dresden in 2012 and the Ph.D. (Dr.Ing.) degree from the Technical University Dresden for a novel co-resonant cantilever sensor concept for cantilever magnetometry in 2016.
The research was done with the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research IFW Dresden. She then moved to the University of Salt Lake City, USA, on a DFG Research Scholarship, first as a Post-Doctoral from September 2016 to February 2017 and then as Research Assistant Professor from March 2017 to June 2018. During this time, she kept working on co-resonantly coupled cantilever sensors and expanded her research toward smart hydrogel-based sensors for biomedical applications. After returning to Germany in June 2018, she spent a few months as a scientist with TU Dresden before being appointed as a Professor for micro- and nanointegrated systems with Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. She started this position in September 2019 and is pursuing the co-resonant sensor concept as well as smart hydrogel-based non-invasive biomedical sensor development.
Dr. Körner was a recipient of the AHMT Messtechnik Award 2017 for her Ph.D. on co-resonantly coupled sensors for cantilever magnetometry, the Johannes-Görges Award 2013 for her Diploma thesis on theoretical modeling of electromagnetic fields in the context of magnetic pulse welding, and the Special Award of the German Society of Non-Destructive Testing 2011 for her student research project on carbon nanotube-based AFM sensors.
