Research Interests:
Dr. Myeong Jin Ju’s research is focused on the development of optical imaging systems and signal processing algorithms, with a specific technology concentration on medical imaging and with knowledge translation and applications to preclinical and clinical vision research. Recently, Dr. Ju has been focusing on developing cellular resolution functional retinal imaging system and processing algorithms for quantitatively imaging biological dynamics in human retina, more specifically, to develop new label-free optical imaging to contrast macro to sub-micrometer modulations in retinal tissues to single cell in vivo/vitro under a variety of pathophysiological challenge.
