Bio
Josh Javor received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University in 2016 and studied the electromagnetic detection of solid cancerous tumors for his Bachelor’s thesis. He was then admitted into Boston University in the fall of 2016 to study MEMS/NEMS biomedical sensors for his Ph.D. thesis under the guidance of Dr. David J. Bishop. His research focuses on the development of tools to study the interaction of electromagnetic, mechanical, and electrical interactions with iPSC-derived cardiac tissue.
