Josh Mutus received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2012. He then joined the Quantum Computing Group of J. Martinis at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in 2012. He joined Google, Santa Barbara, in 2014, where he currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist with the AI Quantum Group.
