His current research interests include power system reliability, modelling for stability studies (off-line and real-time digital simulation), optimal control design (local and wide-area), dynamic vulnerability assessment, system identification, probabilistic and artificial intelligent methods, HVDC and FACTs devices, and renewable energy technologies.
